Trump lied about his supposed dislike for executive orders

As of today, April 26, 2017, Donald Trump has signed 28 executive orders. Which is nearly one every 3 days.

But guess what? During the 2016 campaign, Donald Trump criticized Barack Obama for signing executive orders and he said he would not sign too many exectuive orders if he were president.

And here's the video to prove it:

Five quotes from that video that are simply jewels:

1. "Signing executive orders is not the way out country was supposed to be ran."

2. "The president signs executive orders because he can't get anything done."

3. "I guess he felt tired and went to play golf."

4. "[Obama] signs on immigration and on other things."

5. "The executive orders are an outrage. We have a president that can't lead. He said 'to hell with this, I'm not gonna do this anymore, I want to rest and I wanna do other things including play, this guy plays hundreds of rounds of gold."

Which is also a lie, since according to MSNBC Obama signed fewer executive orders than George W. Bush. 276 executive orders over the course of 8 years in office versus 291 executive orders by Bush.

For the record, according to Politifact Barack Obama went to a golf course of his first 100 days in office zero times. Trump went to play golf 17 times as of April 17, 2017, 88 days into his presidency.

Additionally, according got The Hill, as of April 14, 2017, Donald Trump has gone to his Mar-a-Lago resort 23 days. I guess he wanted to rest and play golf nearly a quarter of his first 100 days in office.

But the worst hypocrisy about this is the fact that just one day before, Trump bragged about how many executive orders he had signed. In fact, the White House said he would have signed 32 executive orders before his 100th day in office (it ended up being 33 executive orders by day 100).

And in case you're wondering, that's more than 11% of the amount of executive orders Obama signed over 8 years. In less than 100 days.
