Twitter said in a lawsuit on Thursday that it had received a demand from U.S. officials for records that could reveal the user behind an account opposed to President Donald Trump and that it was challenging the demand in court.
The lawsuit over the anonymous account was filed in federal court in San Francisco, where Twitter is based.
Trump wants to know who is behing the account @ALT_uscis, also known as ALT IMMIGRATION. Twitter is saying they are not telling him anything because there is no legal reason to do so.
So here you have Donald Trump falsely claiming Susan Rice unmasked people from his campaign who talked to Russian officials --Susan Rice never did such a thing-- and at the same time he's trying to unmask a Twitter user who simply excercises his right of free speech.
Even worse: Twitter said Trump did not provide any evidence that the @ALT_uscis committed a crime.
Talk about being thin skinned...
