A Fox New poll conducted between April 23 and April 25, 2017 (that is days 94 to 96 of his presidency) shows only 36% of voters would reelect Donald Trump if the elections were held today, while 55% of voters would vote for somebody else.
By comparison, by the same time in 2009 52% said they would reelect Barack Obama and 31% said they would vote for somebody else.
To make it worse, only 21% said they would "definitely" reelecti Trump and 15% said they would "probably" do it, leaving room to change their minds.
The "definitely" number for Barack Obama was 37% and 15% for "probably" in 2009.
On top of that, when asked who they would vote for if they had to vote for Congress today, 47% of voters said for the Democrats and 42% said for the Republicans. 2% said for "other" and 8% said they were undecided.
2 days prior to the November election, the Fox News gave a 45% to the Democrats and 45% to the Republicans.
Interestingly, 39% of respondents in the poll identified themselves as Republicans. Which means 3% of Republicans would not vote for Trump. That coincides with the ABC-Washington Post poll that shows Trump losy 4% of his voters.
Trump's approval in the poll is 45% and disapproval is 48%.
