The two fake news polls released yesterday, ABC & NBC, while containing some very positive info, were totally wrong in General E. Watch!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 24, 2017
Fake, huh? Well, literally he praised the ABC poll in his previous two tweets, claiming the poll demonstrated he would win the elections again because he only lost 4% of his voteres in less than 100 days in office.
As we demonstrated before, that's not the case. In fact, a 4% reduction in his voters meant he would lose enough states to lose the popular vote by a higher margin than in 2016, but also the electoral college.
So I guess somebody explained Trump that the 96% loss in his own voters would cost him the election. And as a result, he now says the polls are "fake."
Additionally, one has to wonder exactly what is Trump talking about when he says "totally wrong in General E. Watch!" He means those polls were wrong in the general election in 2016? Or does he mean the polls are wrong in regards to voters lost and therefore predict Trump will lose the 2020 election? It isn't clear, but the "Watch!" suggests he means the next election, not the 2016 election.
Which in turn suggests somebody did explain Trump he was praising a poll that showed he would lose the 2020 election.
Either way, he's contradicting himself. First he lies, then he waffles. One wonders at what point Trump realized he was an idiot for praising the ABC poll and then decided to call it "fake."
