Fun fact: the NYT publishes that Trump claims he made the decision to fire Bannon, but Bannon claims he submitted his resignation on August 7 and his exit was delayed because of the Charlottesville white supremacist violence.
Apparently, Bannon's firing is the result of an interview in which he contradicted Trump on the issue of the use of military force against North Korea. He said:
“Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that 10 million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us.”
The comment took place after Trump's "fire and fury" threat against North Korea.
Now, don't celebrate just yet. Bannon may be gone from the White House, but the racism and hate will stay there, represented by Steve Miller and Seb Gorka, who are pretty much the same thing as Bannon, but at a higher level of brown-nosing, which will protect them from being fired.
In short, racism and hate will still be the Trump administration's signature.
