Finally the White House says something about Russia and Syria, and Russia strikes back

Today the White House, though not directly Donald Trump, who is still silent about the matter, issued a declassified report accusing Russia of trying to cover up Syria's role in last week's chemical attack.

According to The New York Times, the White House accused Russia of using misinformation to try to cover up the attack.

Well, apparently Russia dicided to strike back after that accusation.

You see, according to Mexico's news agency Notimex, Russia's presidency said it will not comment on the internal affairs of the Trump family because the famiy matters of foreign leaders something that doesn't concern the Kremlin. The statement was in response to Eric Trump's claim that Ivanka Trump convinced Donald Trump to launch a missile attack against a Syrian air base as a response to Bashar al-Assad's chemical attack on Syrian people.

Makes you wonder: why would Russia say something like that if they say they don't comment on foreign leader's family matters?

Is Russia suggesting they know something about Trump's family?

If they do, is that why Trump hasn't said anything directly about Russia and Syria?

Just asking.
