Trump has lied 836 during his first six months in office: WP

The Washington Post published an article showing Donald Trump has lied 836 during his first six months in office. An average of 4.6 times per day.

Here's one of the most recent lies:

As it turned out, the president’s claim — that he has signed more bills (42) at this point than “any president ever” — was completely wrong. Just among recent presidents, he’s behind Jimmy Carter (70 bills signed), George H.W. Bush (55) and Bill Clinton (50).

As to why the WP compiled the list of lies, here's the explanation:

This interactive database helps readers quickly search a claim after they hear it, because there’s a good chance he has said it before. But the database also shows how repetitive Trump’s claims are. Many politicians will drop a false claim after it has been deemed false. But Trump just repeats the same claim over and over.

So Trump lies and then keeps on repeating the same lie even after it has been debunked. That suggests Trump knows his core base are truly stupid and they will beleive his lies just because he says so.
