Trump misleads about sanctuary cities with poll that actually shows opposition to border wall

Apparently Donald Trump doesn't even read the stuff he retweets. Today he posted this:

But the poll's numbers contradict Trump.

First of all, when asked if the federal government should cut money to sancturaly cities, 52% said yes and 48% said no. That's hardly "overwhelming" opposition. In fact, the margin of error in the poll makes the result a technical tie and a possible rejection of sanctions against sanctuary cities.

The question that has overwhelming support is if illegal immigrants who commited a crime should be deported. But that has nothing to do with sanctuary cities.

And when asked if they supported the border wall, only 47% supported it, while 53% are against the border wall.

So Trump is not just a liar, but also he's lazy.
