Billionnaire Mark Cuban did NOT back Donald Trump. In fact he went on late night shows to campaign AGAINST Trump.
You see, Cuban did praise Trump a couple of times in mid 2015. But before that he questionned Trump's actual net worth. And after his initial praise for Trump's announcement that he would be running for president, Cuban became one of his biggest critics.
So it is NOT true that Mark Cuban used to back Trump "big time." Cuban backed Hillary Clinton.

What Cuban is saying is he told Trump to be less stupid, since he had a chance at winning. Trump didn't listen. Cuban then tried to stop Trump. No "big time support."
