TRUMP FAIL: Nordstrom drops Ivanka Trump's clothing line after boycott

Apparently being associated with the Trumps is becoming bad for business. Or at least that's what it looks like after Nordsdtrom stores announced they would no longer sell Ivanka Trump's clothing line.

According to the New York Times, Nordstrom said they would no longer be selling Ivanka Trump's clothing line because of the low sales of the brand.

The department store chain said on Thursday that it had decided to put the brakes on its relationship with Ms. Trump and removed her brand from a list on its site. “We’ve said all along we make buying decisions based on performance,” Nordstrom said in a statement. “In this case, based on the brand’s performance, we’ve decided not to buy it for this season,” referring to the spring.

Back in November, Nordstrom tried to justify their decision of selling Ivanka Trump products by saying they hoped "that offering a vendor's product isn't misunderstood as us taking a political position."

But after Trump was imposed as president by the Electoral College, people in the United States, who voted more for Hillary Clinton thanfor Donald Trump, started a campaign called #GrabYourWallet, a reference to Trump's "grab them by the pussy" comment, asking buyers to boycott products with ties to Trump, his familiy and his donors.

3 months later, Nordstrom is dropping the Ivanka Trump line.

And that's the only result of the boycott against Trump. Uber's CEO quit his position at Trump's business advisory group after thousands of consumers deleted the Uber app from their phones and used Uber's competitor Lyft instead.

According to The New York Times, only 4 Ivanka Trump items were left if Nordstrom's website and they had a 40% discount.
