Turns out Trump was, as usual, lying. First of all, because CPAC is a private event not open to the public:
The president claimed lines to get into his CPAC speech stretched 6 blocks. Per @kasie there are no lines, the event is not open to public

And second, because the photos from the event show no lines of people at all:
