DAY 33: Trump lied about his campaign not being in contact with Russia; Russian officials confirm it

Even though American intelligence sources revealed Donald Trump's campaign was in contact with Russia, Donald Trump denied it. But now officials from the Russian government have confirmed Trump's campaign was in fact in contact with them.

According to The New York Times, Russian officials have at least twice "acknowledged contacts with aides to Mr. Trump before the election."

One of the Russian officials who confirmed contacts with Trump's compaign is Sergei A. Ryabkov, the Russian deputy foreign minister, who said his government had maintained contacts with members of Trump's campaign.

The other official is Sergey I. Kislyak, Russian's embassador to the US, who "told The Washington Post that he had communicated frequently during the campaign with Michael T. Flynn."

So once again, Trump is caught lying.
