Leaking, and even illegal classified leaking, has been a big problem in Washington for years. Failing @nytimes (and others) must apologize!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 16, 2017
He even threatened the sources of the leaks:
The spotlight has finally been put on the low-life leakers! They will be caught!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 16, 2017
There's only one problem: Trump used to praise the leaker or leakers: WikiLeaks. He did so several times during the presidential campaign when Democratic emails were leaked. He even said "I love leaks!" during a rally in Pennsylvania. And there's even video of Trump saying "I love WikiLeaks" during the campaign:
President Trump does not like leaks. But he used to like leaks ...... a lot. pic.twitter.com/7oJ8KzVe9Z

Which means Trump is being a hypocrite by complaining about leaks. He said he loves leaks. What he doesn't like is people realizing his campaign's ties to Russia and other disasters of his administration because of new leaks.
In fact, Trump likes leaks so much (I'm talking about leaking information, not about golden showers, just to be clear) that according to The Wall Street Journal intelligence officials are not giving Trump information because they are afraid the information will leak. I quote from the WSJ article:
U.S. intelligence officials have withheld sensitive intelligence from President Donald Trump because they are concerned it could be leaked or compromised, according to current and former officials familiar with the matter.
The officials’ decision to keep information from Mr. Trump underscores the deep mistrust that has developed between the intelligence community and the president over his team’s contacts with the Russian government.
So there you have it. Trump is throwing a tantrum because he's been exposed. But he likes leaks to so much (again, not talking about golden showers) that the intelligence community won't give him all of the information because they are afraid he might leak it.
