That's because with Trump's tax plan only people who make more than $75,000 per year will get an actual tax cut. Everybody else will pay more either through actual tax increases or through the repeal of tax deducations such as student loan payments, mortgage deductions, and even deductions on materials for education bought by public school teachers.
