According to The New York Times, the Trump administration cut the budget for promoting enrollment in the Affordable Care Act by 90%.

From a 2016 budget of $100 million dollars, Trump will cut it down to $10 million.

DAY 222: Robert Mueller now has IRS agents investigating Russia-gate

Accordin got The Daily Beast, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has enlisted IRS agents in his investigation of the possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

DAY 221: Trump lawyer did contact the Kremlin

According to CNN, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Donald Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, did contact the Russian Government asking for help with the plan to build Trump Tower Moscow.

Cohen admitted that he contacted the Kremlin in mid-January of 2016.

DAY 220: Defense secretary blocks Trump transgender ban... for now

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis put a hold on Donald Trump's order to ban transgender people from the military.

According to The New York Times, Mattis said the ban would be placed on hold until a study is conducted and then he will advise Trump on what to do.

DAY 219: Donald Trump knew about Trump Tower Moscow proposal during his campaigm

According to ABC, Donald Trump's former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, confirmed that Trump did know and even signed the letter of intent for Trump Tower Moscow during the presidential campaign.

DAY 218: Trump eliminated Obama rule for flood standards before Harvey hit

Just days before hurricane Harvey hit Texas, causing the worst flood in the history of Houston, Donald Trump eliminated an Obama-era regulation to fight against floods.

On August 15, 2017, barely a week before hurricane Harvey hit Texas, Trump rolled back the Federal Flood Risk Management Standard, supposedly as a way to speed construction of infrastructure.

DAY 217: Trump tried to get Sessions to dismiss Arpaio case months ago

The Washington Post revealed today that Donald Trump had actually asked Jeff Sessions to drop the case against former Sheriff Joe Arpaio because he was an ally during Trump's presidential campaign.

However, Sessions declined to do so because Sessions thought it would be inappropriate.

DAY 216: Trump wants medical marijuana patients' private information

The Boston Globe published today an article revealing that the Trump administration is asking Massachusetts and other states for private information on users of medical marijuana. From the article:

An arm of the White House’s anti-drug office has asked Massachusetts and several other states where medical marijuana is legal to turn over information about their registered patients, triggering a debate over privacy rights and whether state officials should cooperate with a federal administration that appears hostile to the drug.

Dale Quigley, deputy coordinator of the National Marijuana Initiative, or NMI, has asked Massachusetts health officials for demographic data on the age, gender, and medical condition of the state’s approximately 40,000 registered medical marijuana patients. Quigley is a former police officer in Colorado with a long history of speaking out against legalization.

Descendant of Robert E. Lee says Trump should not defend confederate statues

Karen Finney, a descendant of Robert E. Lee, who is half African-American, said Donald Trump has no idea what he's talking about when he defends confederate statues. As a result, she's asking Trump to stop defending them.

According to The Hill, Finney pointed out that the statues have not been where they are for 150 years, as Trump claims, but they were built in the early 20th century during the Jim Crow era as a way to intimidate Black people.

Trump's support has been falling at a rate of 1% per month: FiveThirtyEight

Nate Silver's FivethirtyEight.com published an article today showing Donald Trump's approval has been slowly falling at a rate of 1% per month.

Trump lies about what he said in his speech in Phoenix

This was one of Donald Trump's early tweets today:

But that's a lie. Trump left out the following passage from his initial Charlottesville remarks:

DAY 214: Trump sinks the Dollar because of Phoenix speech

As a result of his threats to shut down the government in order to build his border wall during his speech at a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, Donald Trump ended up sinking the value of the dollar when measured against gold and the Yen.

According to CNBC, the price of gold and the Yen jumped following his speech.

Trump's Phoenix rally was a disaster: He lied, and hundreds left of lost interest

For all the talk in the media about it, Donald Trump's rally in Phoenix, Arizona, ended up being a disaster. First, Trump was caught lying, saying the cameras from the media were being shut down when in reality they were showing him saying that:

DAY 213: Donald Trump has lied more than 1,000 times while in office

The Washington Post publishes today an article showing how Donald Trump has lied 1,057 times since he took office. That's almost five lies per day to the American public.

"That’s an impressive number by any standard. In fact, we are a little late with this update because we have simply been overwhelmed keeping track of the deluge of claims made by the president in the later part of July," says the Washington Post.

Trump admits he lied about Afghanistan during the 2016 campaign

Tonigt Donald Trump announced that instead of pulling US troops out of Afghanistan, as he had promised during the 2016 campaign, he would increase the US troops and keep them there. Supposedly, he claimed, because "the American people are weary of war without victory."

No. The American people doesn't care for "victory". The American people care for not having to pay with lives and money for a war that has been going on for 16 years.

But what really took the cake was Trump's excuse for his flip-flopping. He said:

Keep this in mind the next time Donald Trump brags about donating his salary to the government: he already depleted the money for the secret service because of his and his family's constant trips.

DAY 212: Republicans have paid Trump's businesses $1.3 million

The next time Donald Trump brags about him donating his salary as president to some government department, aside from pointing out to the fact that Trump probably cut funding to that department by a lot more, consider the following: The Republican party has spent $1.3 million paying to Trump businesses.

That's right. According to The Washington Post, Republican committees have spent that much money on Trump businesses. Here's a quote from that article:

According to a new poll by NBC/Marist, Donald Trump has 36% or less approval numbers in three key states of the Rust Belt.

Trump defends nazis again; Calls anti-nazi protestors "anti-police agitators"

Donald Trump just tweeted the following in regards to the massive protest in Boston against nazis and racism:

GOP is concerned about Trump, AP says, but GOP sure isn't acting like it

Associated Press publishes today that many influential Republicans are voicing concerns about Donald Trump's remarks defending nazis after the Charlottesville violence.

Here's a quote from the AP article:

Behind the high-profile denunciations voiced this week by GOP senators once considered Trump allies, scores of other, influential Republicans began to express grave concerns about the state of the Trump presidency. In two dozen interviews with Associated Press reporters across nine states, Republican politicians, party officials, advisers and donors expressed worries about whether Trump has the self-discipline and capability to govern successfully.

Problem is, if the Republicans are really that concerned, they sure aren't acting like it.

Red Cross, Salvation Army and 3 more charities cancel events at Mar-a-Lago

Five more charities, including the International Red Cross and the Salvation Army, are cancelling their plans to have fundraising events at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in the wake of Trump's comments on Charlottesville.

According to Politico, the charities cancelling their events are:

DAY 210: Trump won't attend Kennedy Center Honors, suggesting he knows he's toxic

Donald Trump will not attend the Kennedy Center Honors this year because, he said, that way the honorees won't have any "political distractions."

In other words, Trump knows he has become toxic to anyone near him.

Well, anyone but nazis.

The thing is, some of people who would be honored had already cancelled their attendance to the Kennedy Center Honors because of Trump.

DAY 209: Steve Bannon is out of the White House, but the racism stays

Donald Trump's chief strategist Steve Bannon was fired from his post today. According to The New York Times, the White House announced that “White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and Steve Bannon have mutually agreed today would be Steve’s last day.”

Fun fact: the NYT publishes that Trump claims he made the decision to fire Bannon, but Bannon claims he submitted his resignation on August 7 and his exit was delayed because of the Charlottesville white supremacist violence.

American Cancer Society cancels Mar-a-Lago event after Trump's defense of nazis

The American Cancer Society cancelled an event they had originally planned to have at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. In a statement, they suggest the reason is because of Trump's defense of nazis after the events of Charlottesville.

After islamic terrorists killed 13 people and injured several more in Barcelona, Spain, by ramming a van into a crowd, Donald Trump responded with this tweet:

Tennessee Democratic Representative Steve Cohen issued a statement announcing he is seeking to introduce articles of impeachment against Donald Trump as a result of his stand after the events in Charlottesville, Virginia.

DAY 208: Trump defends Confederacy monuments; Descendant of Sonewall Jackson calls for removal

After several Conferacy monuments were taken down in Baltimore, Donald Trump posted a series of tweets this morning defending the monuments. This a mere two days after he defended the alt-right and the nazis.

Today the New York Times published an article about the fact that a group of former Trump aides will try to register to vote and find potential voters in rural areas of the United States.

This wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't for the following two paragraphs:

DAY 207: Trump disbands economic councils after claiming he didn't care if CEOs resigned

NOTE: We ere gone for 15 days because of different reasons, se we missed A LOT of crap in the Trump administration, including Trump's defense of nazis and of Robert E. Lee after the vicious, racist attack by the alt-right in Charlottesville, Virginia, against anti-fascist demostrators that cost the life of a young woman. It took Trump 48 hours to condemn the nazis after he said the violence was "on all sides", but then on Tuesday he insisted on the "all sides" message and he even defended the nazis, equated them with protesters against nazis, and not only defended Robert E. Lee, who was the main general of the Confederate army during the Civil War (thus a traitor) but he also equated him with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

Yes, that's how HORRIBLE Donald Trump is.
