DAY 280: Tourism is losing billions because of Donald Trump

According to Forbes, the tourism industry in the United States is lonsing billions of dollars because of Donald Trump.

This is because of what Forbes calles the "Trump Slump", which is a decrease in tourists to the United States that began roughly a week after Trump took office.

Guess what triggered the "Trump Slump"? According to Forbes:

After the announcement of the first two travel bans in January and March, the number of international travelers arriving in the U.S. has dramatically dropped, according to ForwardKeys, a European travel-prediction firm.

Looking at the number of U.S. inbound arrivals – or the number of international tourists arriving at airports around the country – the firm found that the number of visitors dropped 1.3% following the announcement of the first travel ban on January 27. On June 26, when the second ban was partially re-instated, inbound visitors dropped again by 2.8%.

Experts expected to see falling arrivals following the first executive announcement in January, when European interest in visiting the U.S. fell 12% but to see the number of arrivals impacted so quickly is startling.

This means billions of dollars in lost revenue for the American tourism industry. And Trump is 100% to blame for it.

And yet, Trump wants people to applaud him for jobs "created" by Trump, when in reality there are none. All of the jobs created not only are LESS than those created under Obama, but they are also the result of Obama policies, not Trump's.

What is definitely the result of Trump's policies is the Trump Slump.
