Trump admits he lied about Afghanistan during the 2016 campaign

Tonigt Donald Trump announced that instead of pulling US troops out of Afghanistan, as he had promised during the 2016 campaign, he would increase the US troops and keep them there. Supposedly, he claimed, because "the American people are weary of war without victory."

No. The American people doesn't care for "victory". The American people care for not having to pay with lives and money for a war that has been going on for 16 years.

But what really took the cake was Trump's excuse for his flip-flopping. He said:

"My original instinct was to pull out, and historically I like following my instincts. But all of my life, I heard that decisions are much different when you sit behind the desk in the Oval Office."

So let me get this straight. Trump is saying that he wanted to pull out of Afghnaistan not because of actual data, but because of "instinct." And then he says that all his life he has heard that "decisions are much different when you sit behind the desk in the Oval Office."

All his life? Really? Then why did he attack Barack Obama time and time again when Obama was president and making decisions from behind the desk at the Oval Office?

Because Trump is an incompetent, ignorant liar. That's why.
