DAY 264: Trump signs executive order allowing the sale of crappy insurance and withdraws from UNESCO

In what it looks like a desperate attempt at undermining Obamacare, Donald Trump signed an executive order today intended to allow the sale of crappy insurance policies that are cheaper, but cover very little and can cause actual insurance coverage's premiums to go up.

According to The New York Times, the executive order would allow employers to band together and buy limited insurance plans for workers, thus reducing cost for employers, but giving employees inadequate health coverage.

Trump repeats false Pershing story in response to terrorist attack in Spain

After islamic terrorists killed 13 people and injured several more in Barcelona, Spain, by ramming a van into a crowd, Donald Trump responded with this tweet:

Study what General Pershing of the United States did to terrorists when caught. There was no more Radical Islamic Terror for 35 years!

Trump is referring to a lie he said during a campaign rally in 2016: that Pershing used bullets dipped in pig bloog to execute 49 islamic terrorist and left 1 go to tell people the story, thus preventing 35 years of islamic terrorism.

DAY 189: DUMB: Trump doesn't know how the filibuster works

This morning Donald Trump tweeted the following in regards to his failure to repeal and replace Obamacare, only blaming the Republican Senators for his own failure:

Turns out the one who ended up looking like a fool because of his ignorance of the legislative process. You see, Trump's own repeal and replace of Obamacare didn't need 60 votes, but a simple 51 vote majority. And Trump couldn't even get that because his Trumpcare plan was a disaster.

DAY 165: Investor who spotted Enron's fall says Trump's infrastructure plan is "fake fiscal news"

The short seller investor who spotted the demise of Enron said Donald Trump's infrastructure plan is "fake fiscal news" that will not work.

In an interview, investor Jim Chanos said the reason why Trump's plan won't work is because Trump wants public-private partnerships for infrastructure projects, but that will only work for some small projects, not for the major projects the United States needs.

Trump tells supporters he wants a "new" immigrant law that has actually been enacted since 1996

In a rally in Iowa today, Donald Trump said it is time for "new" immigration rules forbidding immigrants from getting welfare for at least five years.

The thing is, that law has already existed since 1996. According to The Hill, Trump said:

“The time has come for new immigration rules which say that those seeking admission into our country must be able to support themselves financially and should not use welfare for a period of at least five years.”

You see; During the Obama administration, the United States agreed with Australia to take 1,250 refugees who were in an Australian detention center under terrible conditions. But Trump found out about it the day after he ordered his racist Muslim ban.
