DAY 213: Donald Trump has lied more than 1,000 times while in office

The Washington Post publishes today an article showing how Donald Trump has lied 1,057 times since he took office. That's almost five lies per day to the American public.

"That’s an impressive number by any standard. In fact, we are a little late with this update because we have simply been overwhelmed keeping track of the deluge of claims made by the president in the later part of July," says the Washington Post.

On top of that, even when Trump's lies have been thoroughly debunked, he has repeated 30 of his lies three or more times.

The most repeated of Trump's lies? That the Affordable Care Act is "essentially dead," which he repteated 50 times.

In fact, some of his lies could be debunked with a simple Google search. And some of his lies are simple repetitions of campaign lies.

No wonder Trump's approval ratings are at historic lows.
