DAY 266: Trump takes credit for HURTING stock prices

Remember how Trump is constantly bragging about the stock market being up because of him (which is a lie, of course)? Well, here's Trump bragging about him HURTING stock prices:

DAY 264: Trump signs executive order allowing the sale of crappy insurance and withdraws from UNESCO

In what it looks like a desperate attempt at undermining Obamacare, Donald Trump signed an executive order today intended to allow the sale of crappy insurance policies that are cheaper, but cover very little and can cause actual insurance coverage's premiums to go up.

According to The New York Times, the executive order would allow employers to band together and buy limited insurance plans for workers, thus reducing cost for employers, but giving employees inadequate health coverage.

Trump cuts funding to Obamacare enrollment promotion by 90%

According to The New York Times, the Trump administration cut the budget for promoting enrollment in the Affordable Care Act by 90%.

From a 2016 budget of $100 million dollars, Trump will cut it down to $10 million.

DAY 188: TRUMP LOSES AGAIN: Skinny Obamacare repeal fails and Russia sanctions will be signed

Donald Trump lost for the third time in a row on his attempt at repealing Obamacare. This time Republicans in the Senate, including John McCain, voted against the so-called "skinny repeal", which would've repealed only some of the key parts of the Affordable Care Act, such as the individual mandate, pre-existing conditions and essential benefits.

Three Republican Senators voted against it, with McCain delivering the final and decisive vote against the repeal, for a 49-51 vote on the third Republican attempt at repealing Obamacare.

DAY 186: TRUMP LOSES AGAIN: Simple Obamacare repeal doesn't get enough votes

After less than a day since the Republicans could not get enough votes to pass the repeal and replace of Obamacare, today they tried to pass a simple repeal without replace.

Guess what? It also failed. Seven Republican Senators voted against Donald Trump's stupidest plan.

So today the Republicans tried one last, desperate attempt at repealing Obamacare in the Senate. Since they did not have the votes to repeal and replace Obamacare with Trumpcare, Trump told them to propose a Repeal and Delay tactic in which the Senate would repeal Obamacare and not propose anything to replace it until a later date. Trump claimed that way the Democrats would be forced to negotiate.

But the plan backfired. Three Republican senators openly said they would vote against the plan, since a simple repeal without replacement would leave 32 million people without health insurance and premiums would double. As a result, the Repeal and Delay plan failed.

DAY 145: Trump tries to distract the public after refusing to testify under oath and because of Trumpcare

Last Friday Donald, June 9, Donald Trump said he would "100 percent" testify under oath before Congress on the Russia investigation. Yesterday, Monday, June 12, the White House backetracked and said Trump didn't mean he would testify before Congress. In other words, somebody explained Trump that if he were to testify before Congress, he would commit perjury if he were to contradict James Comey, and if he told the truth about Russia, he would probably be admitting crimes.

So today, even though the one who is deep legal trouble because of James Comey's confirmation that Trump basically obstructed the Russia investigation, Trump posted a whole bunch of tweets trying to distract the public. Among them:

A.G. Lynch made law enforcement decisions for political purposes...gave Hillary Clinton a free pass and protection. Totally illegal!

Except Lynch never committed any crimes. Trump apparently did (obstruction of justice).

Insurers are hiking premiums in 2018 because of Trump

According to CNN, insurers like Blue Cross Blue Shield are asking for insurance premium increases of more than 22% in 2018 because Donald Trump has not agreed to pay cost sharing subsidies.

DAY 100: Trump ends 100 days in office without Obamacare repeal, no border wall, and with 80% failure

Donald Trump ended his 100th day in office without an Obamacare repeal, as the Republicans had to withdraw it once again because even among Republicans in Congress they could not get enough votes to pass it.

In fact, according to CNN, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus tried for the last two weeks to pressure Republicans into approving the Obamacare repeal before the end of the 100 days.

The "100 Days" milestone approaching, Priebus was "aggressive" in his calls to Capitol Hill in search of converts on the controversial legislation, the sources said.

One source likened the chief of staff's efforts to securing a "100 Days" trophy for President Donald Trump, and a senior GOP congressional aide said "definitely Reince" when asked who has been the most aggressive in trying to whip up support for a vote.
"Priebus had really made the push to get the vote. To get this done. Just in terms of the political side -- the political win," a House GOP aide said.

But in the end, Trump failed to get the Obamacare repeal within his first 100 days.

Trump offered Democrats to pay for Obamacare subsidies in exchange for money for border wall

Oh you're going to love this one. Here's more evidence that Donald Trump was lying about the Mexico paying for the Border Wall and about Obamacare being a "disaster."

According to Politico, Trump offered Democrats in Congress a deal: His administration would pay 1 dollar for Obamacare subsidies for each dollar the Democrats approved for the construction of Trump's border wall.

Guess what Democratic leader Chuck Schumer responded to the "master negotiator's" offer? He said no.

DAY 73: Trump lies about "love and strength" within the Republicans

Donald Trump tweeted this in reference to his failure with Trumpcare:

DAY 72: Donald Trump misleads about Obamacare and again

Donald Trump started his daily tweets with this:

...use subsidies to buy health plans." In other words, Ocare is dead. Good things will happen, however, either with Republicans or Dems.

Let's skip the fact that just a few days ago Trump said the NYT keeps on getting it all wrong about him and let's focus on the misleading use of the NYT to try to attack Obamacare.

DAY 54: Trump brags about jobs created by Obamacare and says nothing about Trumpcare

Donald Trump insists in bragging about the job figures for February of 2017 even though unemployment is a tiny 0.1% smaller than the previous month. But this time he used screencaps from Fox News.

The irony here is that he's bragging about health care jobs that were created thanks to the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Those same jobs will probably be lost with Trumpcare.

DAY 53: Trump suggests Republicans should hurt Americans through health care for political gain

This is a new low for Donald Trump. He actually suggested that instead of passing Trumpcare, Republicans should simply let Obamacare "implode" and then blame the Democrats.

In other words, Trump is willing to hurt Americans through health care for political gain.

Watch the video in which Trump makes the suggestion and see how he presses Tom Price TWICE to consider it. But Price seems unwilling to say yes to that (and you can see in his face he is actually freaked out because of the suggestion):

Sean Spicer lies repeatedly about Obamacare

As a result of Donald Trump lying on Twitter with his suggestion that the protests in town hall meetings regarding Obamacare are fabricated, a reporter asked Sean Spicer about it. Spicer went on to repeat, without a shred of evidence, that some of the protests were fabricated. But he didn't stop there. Then he went on to lie about Obamacare repeatedly. One of the lies he said, for example, is that health care access is going down, when in reality there is a record number of people with insurance in America:

Trump balmes Obamacare for Humana leaving in 2018, but it was Trump the one who defunded it

After Humana announced it will leave the Obamacare marketplace in 2018, Donald Trump tweeted:

In reality, it was Trump's fault Humana decided to leave the marketplace.

Fake Obamacare repeal and screwing over home owners

Trump made sure the media was present at the Oval Office the evening of January 20, 2017, to see him sign an executive order against President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

Legally, Trump can't stop the law. Only Congress can repeal it or change it. And although both houses of Congress passed a budget bill defunding the ACA a few days before, it had not been signed into law yet.

So in order to create the image that Trump was repealing Obamacare "from day one", he signed an executive order telling all federal agencies to provide "relief" from the ACA in the form of suspending all provisions of the ACA that collected fees, taxes and regulated the health care system.
