Trump signed an executive order withdrawing the United States from the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), after he attacked the TPP during the campaign.

There's only one problem with that: Congress had not approved the TPP and President Barack Obama had already stopped efforts to get the TPP approved. Obama suspended its push to get the trade deal approved by Congress on November 11, 2016, knowing that Congress would not vote on it.

So technically, Trump didn't withdraw from anything, since the US was never in the TPP and the trade deal was not going to be approved by Congress anyway.
Which means the executive order was just an act to look like Trump was being tough on a trade deal. Problem is, it was a non-existing trade deal. Very suitable for a fake presidency.
