John McCain never had any intention of voting for this Bill, which his Governor loves. He campaigned on Repeal & Replace. Let Arizona down!

Large Block Grants to States is a good thing to do. Better control & management. Great for Arizona. McCain let his best friend L.G. down!

And that was just the start. Then Trump went on to lie about Obamacare as he latest attempt at taking away the healthcare of millions of Americans failed. He said:
Arizona had a 116% increase in ObamaCare premiums last year, with deductibles very high. Chuck Schumer sold John McCain a bill of goods. Sad

Alaska had a 200% plus increase in premiums under ObamaCare, worst in the country. Deductibles high, people angry! Lisa M comes through.

Number one, Arizona had 116% increases in counties where premiums were compensated with subsidies. In fact, Arizona had some of the lowest premiums in the country in 2014. Thus, the increase doesn't really affect Arizona that much. Specially with the Obamacare subsidies in place.
Second, the latest version of Trumpcare has a waiver for Alaska so the bill doesn't apply to that and other Republican states. Why? Because with Trumpcare would leave them without health care. According to Politico:
The Senate’s Obamacare repeal bill may protect Alaska and up to four other sparsely populated states from major cuts to Medicaid through 2026, a potential boon to the home of pivotal GOP swing vote Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
The plan from Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Bill Cassidy (R-La.) allows a limited number of states to opt out of its new Medicaid financing system, which would give states set sums to run their programs and do away with the open-ended entitlement that exists today.
So basically the GOP is bribing Morkowski by allowing Obamacare to stay in pace in Alaska. But Trump is not telling that to his followers.
Why? Because Trump inadvertedly admitted the real reason for Trumpcare was about politics, not about health care:
I know Rand Paul and I think he may find a way to get there for the good of the Party!

You read it. Trumpcare is not for the good of Americans. It's not even for the good of Republican voters. It's for "for the good of the [Republican] party."
That is low. Even by Trump's standards.
