An overlooked vowel by the U.S. leader resulted in him praising the progress of “Nambia,” a country that some observers were quick to point out didn’t exist in Africa—or anywhere else.
An official White House transcript of Mr. Trump’s remarks was more forgiving, crediting him with referring to the actual country of Namibia, whose president, Hage Geingob, and deputy prime minister, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, were said by the White House to be among those present.
Right... So Trump can't read now?
But then Trump did something truly stupid: He blocked from his Twitter account a cancer patient who refuted this new Trumpcare plan.
According to Think Progress, first Trump tweeted this:
I hope Republican Senators will vote for Graham-Cassidy and fulfill their promise to Repeal & Replace ObamaCare. Money direct to States!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 20, 2017
But then...
In the hours before Trump posted that tweet, his account blocked a woman with stage 4 cancer who has spoken out about the dangers of Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare.
Trumpcare, of course, will leave millions of Americans without access to health coverage. 36 million over the next 9 years, to be precise. And yet Trump blocked a woman who is suffering from cancer simply because she decided to criticize Trumpcare.
That's how despicable Trump and Trumpcare are.
