A new poll by NBC News and The Wall Street Journal shows that more Americans believe James Comey over Donald Trump in regards to Comey's Senate testimony on Trump and the Russia investigation.
The poll shows 45% of Americans believe Comey, while only 22% of Americans believe Trump.
The trend is also true for independent voters, who favor believing Comey by 47%, against 17% of independents who believe Trump instead.
The only voters who believe Trump more than Comey are Republicans, who believe Trump by 50% over 10% who Believe Comey.
But that means only half of Republicans actually believe Trump.
Democrats believe Comey overwhelmingly by a margin of 76% against 2% who believe Trump.
21% of voters say they don't believe both and 8% say they believe both.
