Despite so many false statements and lies, total and complete vindication...and WOW, Comey is a leaker!

Except Comey did not lie in his testimony before the Senate. And Trump was NOT vindicated. If anything, Trump's situation is now worse. Here's why:
1. Comey confirmed that Trump tried to stop the Russia investiation.
2. Comey did not confirm if currently there is an investigation involving Trump because he's not in the FBI anymore.
3. Comey did, however, see sufficient evidencie of wrongdoing by Trump to be compelled to trigger a special counsel for the Russia investigation.
4. Even if Comey did not confirm if Trump himself was being investigated (he also didn't confirm if currently Trump is being investigated), the investigation was never about Trump personally, bout about his CAMPAIGN. And several memebers of his campaign, including Jeff Sessions, Jared Kushner and Mike Flynn are all under investigation because of their contacts with Russia.
So no; Trump is NOT "vindicated." He's in even deeper trouble than before, because now there is a testimony against him that clearly points out Trump was trying to obstruct justice.
Keep this in mind: Richard Nixon didn't personally break into the Watergate hotel, but he tried to obstruct the investigation. That was the crime that brought Nixon down.
