To make things even more childish, Trump said the following at a rally today:
“The fake media tried to stop us from going to the White House. But I’m president, and they’re not.”
According to The New York Times, Trump said that at a "faith rally."
So Trump first threatens CNN with violence, thereby attacking the free press. Then he goes to a rally of religious fanatics and goes on a childish rant against the media and he gets applauded, showing how his followers are just as childish as he is.
The biggest problem here is how Trump is inciting violence against media outlets simply for doing their job.
It should be noted, however, that Trump is doing this when his approval ratings even among Republicans, are at one of his all-time lows, with Gallup giving him a 37% approval and a 57% disapproval.
