People protested against Donald Trump even at one of his golf courses

Donald Trump tweeted this today in reference to the fact that he was present at a major US women's gold tournament at one of his golf courses in New Jersey:

Thank you to all of the supporters, who far out-numbered the protesters, yesterday at the Women's U.S. Open. Very cool!

And indeed there were people who waved at him during the tournament and there were people who turned their backs at him because they'd rather see the tournament. But that implies something else:

There were protests even at one of Trump's golf courses.

And apparently Trump knew there would be protests because he tweeted several times that he would be present at the golf course during the tournament. That suggests he was trying to get his supporters to be there to make it look like the cheers were larger than the jeers.

The problem is, even if that were the case, there were still protests against Trump at one of his golf courses.

That's how impopular Trump is.
