Trump loses again: President Barack Obama debunks his Muslim ban's excuse

After Donald Trump pretended to justify his Muslim ban by claiming Barack Obama had had identified the 7 Muslin countries in his list as souces of terrorism, President Barack Obama responded by debunking Trump.

According to The Washington Post, in a statement, President Obama's spokesperson said:

“With regard to comparisons to President Obama’s foreign policy decisions, as we’ve heard before, the President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion.”

President Obama also supported the protests against Trump's Muslim ban:

“President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country,” said Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for the former president, in a statement issued after a weekend of protests against Mr. Trump’s executive order. “Citizens exercising their constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.”

The 44th President of the United States said days before leaving office that he would only speak out about the Trump administration if he felt the nation’s ideals where under threat.
