Sean Spicer says Trump "believes" there was voter fraud in 2016 but shows no evidence

When the press asked Sean Spicer for evidence backing Donald Trump's claim that millions of illegal immigrants voted for Hillary Clinton, Spicer says Trump "believes" that's the case based on "studies and information he has". However, Spicer did not present any evidence proving Trump's lie.

To be clear, Spicer is merely repeating Trump's lie, as there is no evidence of voter fraud in the 2016 election. Additionally, we already proved that even if we were to take away Hillary Clinton's new votes from the 17 states where she got more votes than Barack Obama in 2012, Clinton still would've defeated Trump by more than half a million votes in the popular vote.

So apparently, Trump's employees will justify his lies now by saying that he "believes" in them.

Reminded me of George Costanza telling Jerry Seinfeld "Jerry, just remember: it's not a lie if you believe it" when he asked George to help him defeat a lie detector.

Problem is, just because somebody "believes" in something it doesn't mean it is true. Specially if that person is simply lying, like Trump.
