Trump lied about not depending on foreign oil by reactivating Keysone pipeline

Donald Trump signed an executive order reactivating the Keystone and Dakota Access pipelines. In doing so, he turned his "America First" energy plan, posted at the White House's website into a lie. The energy policy reads:

"In addition to being good for our economy, boosting domestic energy production is in America’s national security interest."

Except the Keystone pipeline has nothing to do with domestic energy production.

The Keystone pipeline, in fact, wasn't even an American project. It was proposed by a Canadian company in order to move oil from Canada into the United States.

The Dakota Access pipeline is for oil production in North Dakota, but the problem is the pipeline represents a risk of contamination for the water supply of a Nate American reservation. The federal government knew it. That's why they moved the pipeline from under a nearby city with mostly White population to under a Native American reservation.

Reactivating the Dakota Access pipeline is another lie by Trump because it also contradicts his "America First" energy policy, which states:

"Lastly, our need for energy must go hand-in-hand with responsible stewardship of the environment. Protecting clean air and clean water, conserving our natural habitats, and preserving our natural reserves and resources will remain a high priority. President Trump will refocus the EPA on its essential mission of protecting our air and water."

But the Dakota Access pipeline is a direct threat to the region's water supplies.

By the way: Here's a very good explanation as to why the Dakota Access pipeline is actually racist:
