THIN SKIN: Trump called National Park chief to complain about inaugural crowd tweet

Donald Trump called the acting chief for the National Park Service to complain about a National Park employee retweeting an comparison image between Barack Obama's 2009 inagural crowd and Donald Trump's crowd, in which it was very clear Trump had far fewer people than Obama.

According to the New York Times, not only complained about the tweet, but he also asked if there are any photos showing the size of his inaugural crowd.

During the call, Mr. Trump also asked the National Park Service’s acting director, Michael T. Reynolds, if he could produce further photographic evidence of the size of his inaugural crowd, according to a second person briefed on the Jan. 21 telephone call between the two men.

What's funny about this is the type of photos Trump asked for:

[Trump] asked for additional photos that could confirm his view of his crowd size.

Well, guess what? There were none.

Oh, by the way, Trump called the National Parks chief the day of his inauguration. In other words, he knew his crowd were small from day one. The thing is, the next day he said at the CIA that he learned about the photo comparisons on January 21 after watching the photos on TV.

Want to laugh a bit? Replace the word "crowd" with "penis" in the next paragraph from the New York Times article:

But his frustration about the size of the inaugural crowd is continuing. During an interview with David Muir of ABC News this week, he talked about it, saying: “We had a massive crowd of people. We had a crowd — I looked over that sea of people and I said to myself, ‘Wow.’ And I’ve seen crowds before. Big, big crowds. That was some crowd.”

Now, even more ridiculous is the way Trump's people are trying to justify his obsession with his, er..., crowd size:

Ms. Sanders [Trump's White House spokeswoman] said Mr. Trump’s decision to call Mr. Reynolds is a reflection of what his supporters find appealing: his willingness to do something himself when he thinks it needs to be done.

“The reason that people like him is because he takes action himself,” she said. “If he sees something that’s an issue, he picks up the phone and directly engages to fix it.”

Well, no matter how many phone calls he makes, he can't change the facts. His, er..., crowd was small.
