Which is a gross distortion of what the Politico poll reported. Or, to say it simply, a lie.
Yes, there is a Politico poll that shows 46% of Americans think the media fabricates stories about Trump. Problem is, the question is about the fabrication of stories about Trump, not AGAINST Trump.
This literally the question asked in the poll:
Based on what you know, do you believe the nations major news organizations fabricate news stories about President Trump and his administration, or not?
The question doesn't say "against." It says "about." By saying "about" that makes it open to positive or negative stories. Which means critics of Trump could easily say "yes, Breitbart and Fox News fabricate stories about Trump."
That means the fake news stories could be Bretibart's or Fox News's. But Trump is trying to get people to think the poll means news stories against him.
And by the way; most Democrats and people with an education did NOT believe the media is fabricating anything.
Meaning only dumb people believe that... or Trump.
Which is the reason why only 35% of Americans approve of Trump according to Gallup.
