DAY 270: Trump disrespected family of fallen soldier

After Trump attacked Barack Obama for no calling his Chief of Staff, John Kelly, after his son died in Afghanistan, Trump called the wife of a fallen soldier... and he disrespected her.

According to The Atlantic, Florida Representative Frederica Wilson was present during the call and this is her account:

“He said, ‘Well, I guess you knew’—something to the effect that ‘he knew what he was getting into when he signed up, but I guess it hurts anyway.’ You know, just matter-of-factly, that this is what happens, anyone who is signing up for military duty is signing up to die. That’s the way we interpreted it. It was horrible. It was insensitive. It was absolutely crazy, unnecessary. I was livid.”

Trump claimed that is not true on Twitter and even claimed he had proof, but presented none.

But then the mother of the soldier told the Washington Post Trump not only disrespected the soldier's wife, but also her and her husband. This is what she said:

“President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband.”

So who are we supposed to believe? Two family members of the fallen soldier, of Trump, who is a liar?
