DAY 315: Trump claims he knew Flynn lied to the FBI, which is possible obstruction of justice

Donald Trump tweeted this today:

Which means Trump knew Flynn had comitted a crime but he didn't turn him over to the authorities and he didn't ask Jeff Sessions to investigate him. In fact, Trump fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates for informing him about Flynn and then Trump fired James Comey, who testified before Congress that Trump asked him not to investigate Flynn.

That is obstruction of justice.

On top of that, Trump on to try to justify Flynn using his favorite "whatabout" excuse: Hillary Clinton.

Trump, of course, is lying. Clinton did nothing illegal and James Comey, a Republican, found nothing illegal about her actions. Flynn, on the other hand, did commit a crime.

What Trump is really complaining about is the fact that Flynn is now cooperating with teh FBI and he could incriminate Trump's campaign with collusion with Russia.

Regardless, the fact that Trump is admitting he knew Flynn lied to the FBI could easily be used against Trump in a criminal case for obstruction of justice and thus impeachment, if not jail time.
