DAY 304: Trump defends Roy Moore because, Trump says, "he totally denies it"

Donald Trump defendede today Roy Moore when questioned by the media about the accusations of child molestation. Trump's defense was simple "he totally denies it."

Wait. That's the same line of bullshit Trump used to defend Vladimit Putin about his meddling in the 2016 election. And the American intelligence agencies responded immediately Trump was lying.

Well, the evidence and testimonies against Roy Moore are pretty overwhelming. Thus, either Trump is lying, or he's willing to support a child molester for the Senate just so doesn't lose the weak majority he has in the Senate right now.

Oh, and the "you have to listen to his side" is the same bullshit Trump used to justify neonazis in Charlottesville.

That's how weak Trump is. One senator less and his presidency will unravel for the next 3 years.

You see, right now the Republicans have 52 senators against 48 Democrats. The Alabama special election will take place on December 12. That means Whoever wins that Senate seat will be Senator in 2018. If Roy Moore loses -as the polls predict since he was acused of child molestation- the Republicans will only have 51 Senate seats against 49 Democrats. That means if the Republicans lose only 2 votes on any issue, their legislation will fail.

So far, most of Donald Trump's major legislation has failed in the Senate because 3 Republicans have voted against it, including repealing Obamacare. And right now one Republican has said he will not support Trump's tax plan. Which means if Moore loses, and one more Republican votes against the tax plan, Trump will not be able to get any major legislation passed at all.

Add to that the fact that on November next year there will be a midterm election and the Republicans are expected to lose control of the Senate and possibly the House of Representatives because of Trump's low approval ratings. Technically, the Democrats would only need to win two additional seats in the Senate in order get the majority, as whoever wins the Alabama special election will be in office through 2021.

What's really despicable is the fact that Trump is defending a child molester for political gain instead of doing the right thing.
