DAY 174: Even though it was a crime, Trump says most would've met with Russian lawyer

According to Politico, Donald Trump tried to justify Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Russian lawyer by claiming that most people would've done it.

This is what Trump said during a press conference in France:

“I think from a practical standpoint, most people would have taken that meeting. I think it’s a meeting that most people in politics probably would have taken.”

Trump claims he can't be sued by protesters because of presidential immunity

Remember how a Federal Judge allowed a lawsuit by three protesters against Donald Trump for inciting his followers to harm them during a rally? Well, Trump's lawyer is asking for the lawsuit to be dropped, claiming Trump can't be sued by the protesters because he has presidential immunity.

Well, the Judge didn't agree. According to Associated Press, the lawsuit will go forward because the Supreme Court has ruled out constitutional protections for speech that incites to violence:

Apparently as a way to deflect criticism over the fact that he knew about Michael Flynn's conversation with Russia, Donald Trump tweeted this:

The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington? Will these leaks be happening as I deal on N.Korea etc?

So the issue for Trump is not the fact that he knew about Flynn's Russia phone call a month before Flynn resigned (former acting Attorney General Sally Yates told Trump about it before he fired her using her opposition to his Muslim ban as an excuse to fire her), but the fact that somebody leaked the information and that's why Flynn had to resign.

But the big cynicism is the part about North Korea.
