Rience Priebus lied: Trump stopped good people with his muslim ban, not bad people

In an interview for Meet the Press, White House Chief of Staff Rience Priebus blatantly lied about Trump's muslim ban, claiming Trump wanted to stop "people who want to do bad things to America."

In reality, the ban has stopped scientists, academics, atheteles, filmmakers, students, people with legal permanent residency, and even a christian family from Syria. Not a single terrorist was stopped from entering the United States.

So far, this the is result of Trump's muslim ban according to MSNBC:

And according to The New York Times, these are some of the people affected:

Add to that a Saudi doctor who had already entered the country legally with a work visa, who was detained because even though she was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, a country not in Trump's muslim ban list, she entered the US with a Sudanese passport. By the way: she was hired by a hospital in Cleveland.

And again: This muslim ban does nothing to secure the United States. Its only purpose is for spectacle. Trump thinks that way his approval ratings will go up not among the American people, but among his supporters. What he doesn't realize is he didn't win the popular vote. And many of his supporters already turning against him even with the muslim ban.
